Hello!
Welcome to my website! I love music. It’s how I feel things. It’s how I say things. It’s how God speaks to me. I’ve found that my best memories, my greatest friendships, and my most powerful connections with God are all somehow centered around music.
Sometimes, after lullabies, when my two kiddos are all tucked in, I stay up way too late and write songs. It’s a kind of a journal for me, I guess, to help me celebrate and process my life. Since I was young, other artists have sung me through my toughest times, and their songs have given me perspective and peace. My own songs have actually done that for me too, so I decided it was time to send them off into the world. I hope that they will bring you peace, help you learn something new, or maybe just make you smile. I’d love to speak to your women's organization or youth group and share some songs and scriptural insights.
Events
I was featured on the KBYI radio show, "In Focus," over Thanksgiving. It's about a 30 minute interview, with a Hilary Weeks song and Norah Jones song mixed in, since I mentioned that they were two of my musical influences. Listen to some or all of it if you'd like!

Did you get a chance to watch these on YouTube? A video of me singing it, and one of me explaining how the music is put together. Enjoy!
You can hear samples and download my album, "Emily Pond Ricks", on iTunes.
Also available on itunes is "Turn Up the Quiet" the CD my brother Zach and I recorded in 2002. A few songs are actually featured on both albums. You can also find them on Amazon.com, Emusic.com, Napster.com, and Rhapsody.com.
